Christmas arty alpacas Sunday 22nd December

Join us at the wonderful Mill Meadows Farm for an hour or so of guided painting followed by a meet, greet and feed with the alpacas. This is such a unique experience and you’ll be so proud to hang up your arty masterpiece when you get home.

We will meet in the marquee, bring an apron or wear one of ours (adult size), sit in front of a 10×12″ canvas and artist Susannah will guide you through the process of painting a winter gonk in a woodland setting.

We will be using acrylic paint which although may wash out, I’d recommend you not wear your best clothes. Do wear warm layers though and boots.

This activity is suitable for ages 5-105 as long as they can sit and engage for a good hour or so. These events tend to be very popular so there is only one seat per ticket (little ones can sit on lap if needed). There are benches outside for family members to enjoy whilst looking out at the alpacas.

Daisy will be with us to face paint up a winter storm at pocket money prices.

Laura will then give a background on the alpacas, answer your questions and let you feed them before letting you join them in their field. This is a wonderful opportunity for photos. It also gives a chance for our paintings to dry.

There is parking, a cafe, shop and bathroom on site. The cafe sells lovely hot drinks and homemade snacks if you would like to enjoy them whilst there.
