We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Part-Time Barista to join our Alpaca Café team. Set within our beautiful farm environment, this is a unique opportunity to work in a relaxed, customer-focused setting surrounded by nature (and alpacas!).
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a café is essential
- Barista training preferred
- A warm, approachable personality with excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working in an outdoor, rural environment
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and refreshments
- Deliver friendly, welcoming customer service
- Support day-to-day café operations including setup and cleaning
- Help maintain the relaxed, farm-style atmosphere of Our Back Garden
Job Details:
- Location: Our Back Garden, Westbourne, West Sussex
- Contract: Fixed-term
- Hours: Minimum 8–11 hours per week
- Additional hours available during holiday periods (Wednesday–Sunday opening)

Help us care for animals, support conservation, grow produce & welcome visitors!
Are you passionate about nature, animals, and sustainable living? Do you love getting stuck in and being part of something meaningful? We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hands-on volunteers to join our family farm team!
Our volunteer programme is at the heart of everything we do. As a volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in daily farm life — from caring for our animals and helping with conservation in our rewilding areas, to getting involved in our on-site aquaponics unit and supporting our alpaca experiences.
🐾 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Helping care for and feed our animals (alpacas, sheep, and chickens)
- Supporting the upkeep and smooth running of day-to-day farm tasks
- Assisting with conservation and rewilding projects across the farm
- Getting involved with growing fresh produce in our aquaponics unit
- Welcoming visitors and supporting our customer experience guide during alpaca walks and farm experiences
- Being a friendly face for visitors to chat to and ask questions about the farm

- A love for the outdoors and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
- Friendly, approachable, and happy talking to visitors
- Reliable and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- A team player – but also happy to work independently when needed
- An interest in animals, conservation, food growing or customer service – or all of the above!
