Wet Felting 14th May 10:00am
Come along and learn a new skill within the inspiring backdrop of Our Back Garden. Let’s get creative and learn how to achieve
Taking inspiration from the West Sussex landscapes at Our Back Garden you will create a fabulous piece of wet felting art.
Wet Felting is a creative process in which wool and other fibres are binded together. You will be guided through the complete process from carding the wool, blending colours and how to lay out the fibres to create a flat piece of felt. Use of the alpaca fleece from Our Back Garden alpacas can also be used. Once dry your felt pieces can be enhanced with your own embellishment and creativity. Examples of what can be achieved will be explained while your own creations are drying in the West Sussex air.
This 2 ½ hr workshop is suited for beginners or those with prior experience and is an excellent way of starting your journey of exploring the many creative aspects of wet felting.
All materials and equipment will be provided alongside tea, coffee and cake! Special dietary requested should be made known at the time of booking.
