Parking

We have parking on site for all pre booked guests. Please drive via Westbourne village when using our postcode to find our gate. Once on-site parking is signposted along the apple trees. If you’re struggling for a spot a member of the OBG team will help you find a space.

We cannot walk in heavy rain or wind. All our walks are now held in the morning to avoid the heat of the day during the summer months. However please note temperatures over 26 degrees will mean that walks will be a maximum of 30 mins with more time spent in the shade and hanging out in the alpaca paddock. We will continue to assess the weather in the run up to your booking and decide on the morning of the walk if we think this isn’t suitable. We will issue you a gift voucher for the value for your walk to redeem another time. If there are circumstances where you will not be able to return to us, we will look to refund your money at our discretion.

Our walking experience involves physical activity, so please inform us of any health concerns before booking. The walk is mostly flat but can be uneven. For those unable to join the walk, we offer accessible sessions to spend quality time with our alpacas. Currently, we don't have wheelchair-accessible toilets but hope to provide this in the future. We have accommodated visitors with various accessibility needs and will continue to improve our facilities. Thank you for your patience as we develop this area.

If you are purchasing food or drink when on site, please enquire at the café for allergy information a member of the team will be able to help you when ordering. If you bring your own food this is at your own risk, and we ask that wash you hands before you consume any food during or after your experience with us a the hand wash stations.

We are a farm set in lots of green space at certain times of the year pollen levels can rise so any hay fever sufferers please ensure that you take the appropriate measures to ensure you comfort on site before you arrive. For anyone who requires regular medicine please carry any required medication with you.

It goes without saying we want you to be addicted to Alpacas not allergic by the end of your experience.

We have a customer toilet on site for all our guests and additional hand washing facilities in our café area. Currently, we don't have wheelchair-accessible toilets but hope to provide this in the future. We have accommodated visitors with various accessibility needs and will continue to improve our facilities. Thank you for your patience as we develop this area.
We have undercover gazebo areas to shield us from any rain during your time on site as well as shade during the hotter days.
Our café horse box is there for your to purchase hot or cold drinks and snacks while on site. As well as our gift shop to browse before you leave.

For Alpaca experience guests you will need to leave your fur babies at home you will not be able to take a dog or any pet into the same paddock as the alpacas or near our livestock. If you are just visiting for a coffee in our café area, we allow well behaved dogs on site. We reserve the right to ask you dog to leave the premises if they are causing the animals or other customers to feel anxious.

To complete one of our walking experience sessions we advise you wear wellie boots or walking boots as even in the dryer weather the ground under foot can be unstable at times. To avoid stepping in anything you don’t like please don’t wear shoes you don’t want to get messy. We will not take out anyone who is wearing open toe or heeled shoes and this is a health and safety issue. During hotter days we love to take the alpacas into the water so waterproof shoes will make our walks a lot more fun.
