Twilight Meet & Greet – Saturday 31st October – Halloween special opening hours.
Join us on the spookiest day of the year for extended opening hours until 5pm! Fuel yourselves before Trick or Treating, or simply extend the afternoon before heading home for a cosy night in.
We will be running a twilight mini Alpaca Meet & Greet at 3:30pm which you’re welcome to come to in costume (adults too) where you can meet the herd, feed them their favourite snack and get up close and personal whilst learning all about these very special animals.
Afterwards relax in our café area, toast marshmallows, enjoy hot drinks, mulled cider, homemade soup and spooky bakes before enjoying our mini pumpkin photo opportunity and relaxing with friends and family in our marquee – or outdoors should the weather be kind! Our goal is simple, we provide the space and you make the memories.

Spend time together in our cosy marquee creating a spooky (or cute) masterpiece, guided by teacher Susannah before saying hello to the curious Alpaca herd for a mini meet and greet.

Our popular Meet & Greet sessions are perfect for young ones, animal lovers and those who aren't feeling so confident.
Join us for an hour of alpaca magic. Team OBG will be on hand to teach you everything you need to know about meeting our friendly herd, including plenty of snacks. Ask questions, learn all about the wonderful world of alpacas, feed the herd behind the barrier to start and maybe even join them in the paddock - no fences and no halters!
Come join the herd and walk your very own fluffy friend around our family farm.
With Team OBG to guide you, join our friendly alpacas for a guided tour of Mill Meadows farm; from the paddock to our re-wilding meadow. Spot wildlife, our resident heron or even a friendly Shetland pony called Peter on your journey whilst learning about this very special patch of green. After your walk, return to the paddock and enjoy a mini meet and greet so you're properly introduced to the entire alpaca herd.
This experience lasts 2 hours, walking will take place on uneven terrain and last for 40-50 mins. Children under 9 will be required to share an alpaca with one adult (18+).

Free to visit, come down 10-3 when we're open to enjoy an artisan coffee, hot chocolate or delicious treat from our friends at Blue Fig Deli.
With toys, colouring and our giant chalk board to keep kids entertained we encourage visitors to slow down, take stock and enjoy the alpaca paddock views over a spot of cake or cup of tea.
Savoury lunch is served 11-2 on Friday / Saturday / Sunday including seasonal focaccia toasties and homegrown + homemade soup.
You can see the alpaca herd close up from the café area, but for touching and feeding please book in for one of our experiences.
